Man, we had a lot of fun at Jeff's in Indianapolis. Mike and family flew out and Ed and I drove and we all met to celebrate. Did a lot of things: bowling, miniature golf, the Children's museum and Maggiano's

Naturally Gourmet Cooking Show in California

Had a wonderful time in Fallbrook, California with my friend, Karen Houghton. 14 half hour shows were filmed in 7 days-it was a cooking marathon! Be sure to tune into the HOPE channel on direct TV in January to view these informative programs. Dr Wes Youngberg is on every show commenting on the value of the different foods used in preparing the finished products and giving many health tips. My favorite was this: research proves that the larger the bowel movement the less hospitals and doctors are needed and the smaller the bowel movement the more hospitals and drs are needed! Remember, if you want to lose weight and keep disease at bay, eat 40 grams of fiber every single day! These programs will be available on the website naturally gourmet.org and.com. Also Karen is publishing a cookbook with all the recipes and many more with each dish photographed.

Summer on Lake JuBay

65th Texas Wedding Anniversary Celebration

I picked up my 92 year old mom and flew out of Minneapolis for her sister's 65th wedding anniversary. It was a spectacular event and I'm glad mom and I didn't miss it! All my cousins I hadn't seen in a long time were there. I am pictured with my favorite cousin, Judy. We played alot together when growing up. Mom and I stayed with Pete and Judy and they were such gracious host and hostess. Judy had a dinner Friday night and the big celebration was Saturday night at Maggiano's in Dallas.

Wisconsin Campmeeting 2009

Took grandson Grant to 10 day Wisconsin Campmeeting this year. The whole thing was awesome! Grant is a happy kid who loves to go to the meetings, sing the camp songs, swim, go to the snack bar and play with his friends and cousins among other things. He was a pleasure to have along!

Ben's birthday
