Mother's Day in Milwaukee

I stayed with Ed's mom, Carm, while Ed went on a jeeping trip in Utah.  She took me to the Italian Community Center for Mother's Day brunch

Fertilizer

Ed caught these 2 carp and I buried them in my vegetable garden-they are good fertilizer!

Beautiful plants

I love plants-flowers and vegetables.  I love playing in the dirt and have done plenty of that already this summer.  I have already frozen alot of spinach, Ed's favorite vegetable

Hard work that paid off

Ed went fishing today and enjoyed the fruits of his labors.  He is also enjoying the fruits of my labors in the form of a lettuce, spinach, onion, radish salad from the garden!

Our cabin on the lake

This is thee nicest place to be in the summer bar none-my heart goes out in thanks to our creator for making it possible for us to enjoy this little piece of heaven. (I am not so thankful in the winter when it is minus 20 out there!)

Joy's birthday

Daughter-in-law, Jen, made a wonderful dinner, cake and appetizers for my birthday!
